A collar is on your dog every day, all day long. That's exactly why I wanted to make one you never have to think about — not after a swim, not after mud, not after three years.
You can stop being careful
With a fabric or leather collar you're always slightly on guard. Don't let him in the pond, it'll be soaked. Dry it out, or it'll start to smell. And the day still comes when you lean in close, catch a whiff, and realise it's time to buy a new one.
This one is waterproof all the way through. Your dog can go in the lake, roll in wet grass and run through the rain — the material absorbs neither water nor smells. When you get home, you wipe it with a damp cloth. That's it. Nothing to dry, nothing on the radiator, nothing in the washing machine.
It doesn't stiffen in winter or crack in summer. I use PawTex — not the cheap webbing off the internet that turns tacky and starts peeling after a couple of months. I've seen enough of those to know this isn't the place to save money.
Comfortable for your dog, simple for you
The inside is smooth — no ridges, no sharp edges to rub the neck. The collar doesn't bunch up or press on a single point, so your dog doesn't notice it even wearing it around the clock.
The buckle opens and closes one-handed. No pulling anything over the head, no wrestling a dog who's just come back from a walk and won't stand still for a second. Adjust it once and it stays — it won't slip and it won't come undone on its own.
The ring and the rivets are stainless steel. That's the only place there's any metal on the collar at all, so that's where I put the best I can get. It won't rust, it won't stain the coat, and it will outlive the collar itself.
Made with my own hands
I cut, sew and assemble every collar myself, here in Latvia. This isn't a production-line product from the other side of the world — if something isn't right, there's a specific person you can talk to.

Worry-free returns — 14 days to be sure of the quality
We want your purchase to bring you nothing but joy. That's why we offer a full right of withdrawal within 14 days from the moment you receive the item.
Return terms
Deadline — the return must be made within 14 days of receiving the item. The item must be unused and clean.
How to make a return?
First, fill out the return form in your profile (it's created automatically once you place an order) or send an email to ivars@obidog.lv, stating your order number and the reason for the return.
There are two ways to return an item. The first — send it to the Domina parcel locker (Omniva or DPD), giving 29460199 as the recipient's phone number. The second — bring it to our workshop in person, contacting us beforehand by phone at 29460199 to arrange a specific time. Return and delivery costs are covered by the customer, except in warranty cases.
Important: customized items
Returns are not available for items made specially to your order — for example, with custom sizes, embroidered names or unique color combinations.
Defect or warranty
If an item is returned due to a manufacturing defect or damage, we cover the delivery costs. In such cases, please include a description of the problem and photos.

Siksniņa izgatavota ļoti glīta. Kvalitatīvi materiāli. Tikai mans draugs pamanījās izmaukties no kakla siksnas laukā. Suņukam ir ļoti bieza un gara spalva.
Labs uzlabojums būtu, ja suns sāk negaidīti rauties siksniņa savilktos ciešak, bet ne tā lai žņaugt suni. Tikai nedaudz lai neizmaucas laukā.

Pasūtījām papilonam S izmēru. Izmērs der, bet uz to mazo suņuku izskatās diezgan smagnēji. Var būt vajadzēja pasūtīt mazāko izmēru. Pozitīvais - viegli uzlikt, suns jūtas brīvāk kā klasiskajos iemauktiņos.
